Distance Education

Yes I think distance education programs would be a good experience especially when learning to become a teacher. I think distance education can be very helpful for the students but possibly harmful to teachers and students like me who want to become teachers. Distance education could take away many teaching jobs from effective teachers.

What about Becca?

My name is Becca Hill and I am a student at good old BGSU. I am originally from Maumee Ohio. In high school I sang in the choir and played tennis. I love playing tennis and the only thing that kept me from playing all four years was the fact that I tore my ACL during preseason practice of my senior year. I have three younger siblings, 10, 9 and 3 years old. I am really close to my family and my siblings. I am by far a cat person basically because I can't stand when dogs jump on me.

I am an early childhood major which is why I chose BGSU. I am a member of the Partners in Community and Context(PCC) which is an education community in Kohl Hall. We go to a Toledo Public School once a week for a little more than half a day and gain experience inside the classroom. So far I love it and have gained a lot of knowledge from my supervising teacher. I am in a kindergarten classroom this semester and it is so much fun!
